Introducing …. Alberta’s First Online Synchronous Band and Choral Program!
Based on feedback from our recent parent survey, The Centre for Learning@HOME has teamed with leaders in the music industry to bring you Alberta’s first online synchronous band and choral program for students in Grades 4-12 in partnership with the University of Lethbridge Conservatory of Music and Stanford University!
Partnering with Stanford University and affiliated with Jack Trip Foundation, Music@HOME features Jack Trip technology, enabling live performance of music over the Internet by dramatically reducing audio latency. Developed at Stanford University, Jack Trip creates the experience of playing together in the same room, even when students are physically hundreds of miles apart.
Partnering with University of Lethbridge Conservatory of Music, Music@HOME will include Head StartClinics, featuring guest instructors from the university working synchronously with students and their instrument.
Launched for the 2021-2022 school year, Music@HOME offers students in Grades 4-12 Choral Music and students in Grades 7-12 Band. Music@HOME features:
· Synchronous live instruction
· Certified music ensemble teacher
· Minimal instrument fee
· Jack Trip software included
· University of Lethbridge Music Conservatory Head Start Clinics
